HARLOW: Police probe catalytic converter thefts

POLICE are investigating a spate of thefts, which have seen catalytic converters stolen from underneath Ford Transit vans in Harlow.
Such thefts were reported on Parsloe Road, Larkswood, Berecroft (two thefts) and Savoy Wood on April 23 and 24.
Police are reminding owners to park in well-lit places to deter would-be thieves and increase the chance of thieves being seen.
Crime reduction officer Graham Anthony said: "Other makes of vehicle have also been targeted recently, especially those where it is easy to crawl under."
