A 40-year-old man was threatened with a broken bottle when he was robbed as he sat in his parked car.
Police said the victim was in the vehicle near Hughes Tower, in The Hides, Harlow, between 8pm and 11pm on Friday (May 9) when he was approached by two men.
One man opened the car door and threatened him with a broken bottle, demanding that he hand over valuables.
The men took his wallet, car keys and mobile phone, hit him with a bottle and ran off. The victim was treated at hospital for a head wound.
Police want to speak to two white men and a woman in their 20s who were seen in the area at the time. One man wore a light coloured top. The woman wore a light coloured short skirt and brown top.
