Hoddle shows support at Barrows Farm

GLENN Hoddle presents Harlow skipper James Bunn with the man-of-the-match award for his performance against Maidstone on Saturday.

The former Spurs star and England boss was invited to hand over the award by the club's vice chairman Simon Morgan after turning up to watch the game.

A club spokesman said: "We helped out with the wake of Glenn's brother, Carl, who sadly died earlier this month. It has been a difficult time for him and his family.

"Glenn decided to come to the game off his own back with a few close family and friends. We made every move to make them welcome."

Carl Hoddle, a former Hawks midfielder during the 1985/6 season, died of a suspected heart attack at his Sawbridgeworth home on Sunday, March 2. He was 41.
