Gannett Foundation Fund UK 2008 Grant
The Gannett Foundation is the charitable arm of Gannett Co Inc, owners of the Citizen series newspapers. |
The Gannett Foundation provides funding to support local organisations within the circulation area of the newspapers, and supports projects which take a creative approach to fundamental issues such as education and neighbourhood improvements, youth development, cultural enrichment and support for disadvantaged people.
Grants are not given to:
- Individuals.
- Organisations which are not registered charities.
- National or regional organisations, unless the project addresses specific local commuity needs.
- Promotion of religious causes.
- Medical or research organisations.
- Animal charities.
Grants will be for between £1000 and £5000, but large grants may be made for exceptional projects.
Application forms received after March 20 2008 will not be considered for a Gannett Foundation Grant.
