TOTTENHAM midfielder Adel Taarabt has caught the eye of West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Mowbray.

The skilful 18-year-old has struggled to make an impact at White Hart Lane and with Albion heavy favourites to win automatic promotion to the Premier League, Mowbray has earmarked the exciting former Lens winger as a player who could boost their survival bid next season.

Ask any person who has watched Taarabt and the last thing they will say is that he has 'struggled to make an impact'!! Quite the contrary. He's 18, a new signing still learning his game and has always made an impact when he's played.

There is no way Tottenham would sell him, but they may let him go on loan.

Tom has hit the nail on the head with his comments. Taarabt has simply destroyed teams in the reserves this year both scoring and setting up goals.

He would have had more chances if he'd slowed down the tricks in the 1st team. But he's young and has plenty to learn. He reminds me of Joe Cole at that age where he simple needs to learn when to play the ball.

This kid is a huge talent and there's no way Spurs will sell him this summer. A loan deal seems more likely but I feel Ramos will trim the squad in the off-season and he'll be needed for cover.

Definitely one to watch for the future!
