HARLOW: Murder investigation begins following man's death

THREE men have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a man in Harlow yesterday.

Police were called to The Rose, Harlow, at 2.30am on Friday. On arrival at the scene they found a group of six men and a taxi.

An injured local man was taken by ambulance to Princess Alexandra hospital where he died.

A 20-year-old man, from Harlow, was arrested at the scene and a 21-year-old and 26-year-old man also both from Harlow were arrested later in the afternoon.

Detective Superintendent Tim Wills is leading a murder investigation.

A post-mortem of the dead man was due to take place today.

The three men arrested have been released on bail to May 21 while enquiries continue.
