Tips

Choose somewhere simple

Choose a place where crowds won't make it difficult to spot each other. Think of something distinctive to wear. That way you can identify each other without too much trouble.

Don't break the bank

That first date doesn't have to be at a posh restaurant. Why not meet for coffee at lunch or for a quick drink after work?

Go Dutch

Consider agreeing to 'go Dutch' before the date - this avoids uncomfortable situations at the end.

Be polite when cancelling

Of course, if you do make a date and need to cancel, show some courtesy and call the other person to cancel.

Don't get disheartened

Don't be disappointed if you don't meet the right person straight away. There are lots of new advertisers & responders every day so relax, be youself, and have fun.

These points may seem over-cautious but if the person you meet is genuine, they will understand.
